Dr. Randy & Dottie Smith

FOUNDER

Randall D. Smith, Ph.D has pastored three local churches over the last thirty-five years, while directing international educational programs for  Christian Travel Study Programs, Inc., an organization offering study trips to Europe and Bible lands for more than three decades. Dr. Smith and his wife Dottie have three talented children who are all grown, and three handsome grandsons.  He thoroughly enjoys archaeology, traveling, and learning. In his “spare time” he studies art, literature, and designs travel itineraries. He teaches more than half of the year in the places where Biblical events unfolded.

Leroy & Lacey Miller

Directors

Hi everyone, we’re Lee and Lacey Miller, the directors of the program. We both attended GCBI in the 2016/2017 school year, where we met, fell in love, and eventually got married. After serving as Ra’s following our graduation we served as youth directors in a local church for four years before coming back to GCBI as the discipleship directors. Here, we have grown to love walking with students and staff through the joys and challenges of life. Currently, we oversee the day-to-day operations, help with vision and direction, and participate in most other activities and events that happen. Lee is also an arborist with his own tree business and Lacey stays busy as a full-time mom and event planner for GCBI.

Kevin & Liz Stoll

Site Coordinators

Hi everyone! We are Kevin and Liz Stoll. We met during the 2017/2018 GCBI school year, and Liz spent the following year serving as an RA. Following that year both of us spent some time at Grace College, with a church plant in Ohio, and eventually getting married in 2020. We moved back to Sebring in 2021, have been blessed with two beautiful children, and we now love serving again at GCBI as the Site Coordinators. Our time serving at GCBI consists a lot of spending time with the current RAs, being dorm parents, and cultivating meaningful and intentional relationships with the students. God has shown us time and time again how much GCBI impacts the lives of students and we love being apart of that!

 

Robert and Ruth Miller

Maintenance and Grounds

Hi, we are Robert and Ruth Miller.

We moved from OH ,onto what is now the GCBI campus, in 2022. For over 2 years we prayed over and dedicated the property to the Lord, asking Him to use it for His glory. GCBI bought it last year and we stayed on as building maintenance and lawn care, & always prayer warriors. We also built a big flower garden and sell seasonal flowers.

We love hosting the students , and taking part in class trips and events,& are excited to see the next generation rising up and serving the Lord in His call upon their life

Dominic LaRovere

Hi, my name is Dominic LaRovere. I moved to Florida in 2021 to attend GCBI and have been captivated ever since. The Lord has captured my heart with His word and His Son. I have a passion for pastoral ministry, missions and all things ministry. I love to use my digital media tools to tell God’s story and share testimony of kingdom work. I am a teacher at GCBI and work to keep everyone plugged in to see what God is doing inside the walls of the school! I’m so excited to watch the students grow and pour myself into the leadership of this program whenever the Lord gives me the chance.

Jamison

Hi everyone! I’m Jamison, the Academic Director for GCBI and am a graduate of the GCBI class of 2026. I have been following Jesus my whole life but I do not think I fully knew Jesus until I was in middle-high school. GCBI has helped me learn to trust in the Lord and I hope that He will help you too! Here at GCBI, I am responsible for all things academic. I look forward to this year, being able to encourage and watch these students grow their relationship with the Lord.

Gracie Sitek

Hi my name is Gracie! I’m a GCBI class of 2023 alumna and serve as the Communications Director for GCBI. What I love most about GCBI is seeing the Lord raise up a new generation of disciple makers. The things I’m most excited for this year are planning a class missions trip and teaching class occasionally. I love exposing students to missions and worshiping with the global church, and can’t wait to dive into the Scriptures together.
