One year. One book. One goal. MAKE DISCIPLES!

2012-13

The cost of GCBI is $5,500 ($5,000 if paid in full before the start of the program) for the year, which includes a $500 deposit upon admission. This accounts for room and board, a substantial meal plan, as well as any domestic ministry-related travels for the year. This fee is payable to the Great Commission Bible Institute.  We are committed to working closely with each student to develop a payment plan that is suitable to his/her individual needs, thus we have created month-to-month payment plans in both 12- and 24-month agreements.

ROOM/BOARD: Each student is required to live on campus. The GCBI dorms are located on the 2nd floor of a charming vintage building in historic downtown Sebring, Florida.  The facilities have been renovated to include five dorm rooms, full baths for men and for women, full kitchen, a large common room for living, lounging, & dining, and a classroom & study hall.

MEAL PLANS: GCBI stocks the pantry and refrigerator at the Institute with basic, healthy foods for breakfasts and lunches (such as fruit, vegetables, lunchmeat, bread, soup, juice, milk, etc.)  We do not provide snack or specialty foods (chips, junk food, or organic foods). Four nights a week, student dinners are provided by members of the local church and community. Our kitchen is equipped with a microwave, toaster ovens, hot plates and a coffee maker, as well as utensils, dishes, cookware, etc.  A list of groceries provided is available upon request. Please note that as part of the commitment to the program, students are expected to attend community dinners.

Additionally, there is a $3,750 cost for the spring trip to Israel, payable to Christian Travel Study Programs, Ltd. The trip to Israel is not a requirement of the program, but is strongly encouraged.  During our fall semester, students will work various fundraisers in order to raise funds towards the Israel trip.  However, these fundraisers are not designed to raise the entire cost for each student, rather offset the total cost. Students are not guaranteed certain monies and should make every arrangement necessary to raise funds individually.
