2011 GCBI Classes #2-4: Sin, Blessing, Suffering, and More
The students have been working hard and we are starting to see them be able to pull out truths and principles from God’s Word. They have looked at Adam’s rebellion in the garden and how it reveals a pattern of how sin operates in the life of a person. The have looked at the first song of the Bible from Lamech (the most ancient version of “I’m Too Sexy”) and his pride. They have looked at Noah and saw that no matter how bad things look God always has a plan and is never backed into a corner. They have looked at Abraham and seen principles of God’s faithfulness (most often in spite of our choices).
Today they will be looking at Job and investigating the problem of suffering. They will be exploring the false worldviews of Job’s friends. They will hear from God as He spoke of His infinite and unfathomable nature and His incredible and powerful works.
Should be a great day.
